Why Joe Biden is a Hero?

At the Age of 78, fighting presidential elections in the United States of America and winning them against all odds is definitely a great feat. From getting elected to the New Castle County Councillor in 1970 to becoming the President of America in 2020, it has been an amazing journey of about 50 years of public life for Joe Biden.

The voting for presidential elections-2020 concluded on 4th November 2020 and counting began on the same day. This counting in each of the states went on for many days and despite Joe Biden getting a clear 306 electoral votes against 232 votes to Donald Trump, Trump did not concede at all.

As things were not getting clear, the electoral college had to assemble to vote and Joe Biden succeeded in getting as many electoral votes as were cast in various States. Donald Trump still not conceding his defeat, the issue went up to the US Congress and the Congress had to debate and vote to confirm Joe Biden as the 46th President of United States of America.

The most important character that we have been able to see about Joe Biden is the ability to stand strong against Donald Trump. He expresses his views so evidently with lot of clarity of thought as far as democracy in USA is concerned. To have a strong backbone at the age of 78 and stand against strong leader like Donald Trump and win the elections while going through the grill is what I like about to Biden.

Joe Biden went against the extreme right-wing politics of Donald Trump and won these elections. When Donald Trump was riding the tiger of White supremacy, it was Joe Biden who took Donald Trump by his horns and dethroned him from this dangerous tiger. Throughout the Campaign period Joe Biden has always shown brighter side of his personality and aroused Hope and positivity amongst Americans.

Joe Biden is just not a leader; he is a statesman. He spoke for the Blacks, the Hispanics, the Asians, The Women and for all the Americans. He accepts and embraces everyone and that’s why he is accepted by everyone. The way he never lost his cool and always spoke to the point on various issues of Public importance makes him a statesman. His posture during debates with Donald Trump is worth seeing and emulating by leaders across the world. He chooses his words so carefully.

Joe Biden reclaimed Democracy for Americans. This election has been restoration of Hope and Democracy for Americans. Nearly 250 years of American Republic looked as if it is in danger. Joe Biden pulled America out from the dangers of being pulled into White racist society. This is the exceptional quality of Joe Biden that we all need to appreciate. At this age, his perseverance, his inner strength to face all possible brickbats and emerge as a winner shows his strong character. His backbone is definitely made of Steel. A strong personality is one which has the possibility to withstand all seasons. Whether it is difficult times or happy times, whether it is gloom or bright, one has to be stithapragna. Joe Biden has shown all the qualities of being a stithapragna.

Joe Biden claimed to fight for Presidential Elections in 1988 and again in 2008. But he had to withdraw from the race for several reasons. After a gap of 12 years, he again decided to fight and carried on a decent campaign and eventually won. He has given hope to many Americans that one can withstand the complexities of political life even after eight decades of existence. He also gave hope for many to stand tall till your time arrives. Life is all about exhibiting grace. To lead a principled life. To be a statesman. To be a role model for many. Life is all about creating Hope. That is what is Joe Biden.
