उत्तरं यत् समुद्रस्य हिमाद्रेश्चैव दक्षिणम् |

वर्षं तद् भारतं नाम भारती यत्र सन्ततिः ||

"The country (varsam) that lies north of the ocean and south of the snowy mountains is called Bhãratam; there dwell the descendants of Bharata."

When I was in Intermediate college I had to walk about 2 km to my village after getting down at railway station in the midnight. I was fearful to walk that route as I used to encounter naxals inquiring about my untimely walk.

During my childhood, such activities were at its peak in my native district Karimnagar, Telangana. There used to be dreadful fear of unknown persons knocking at the doors in the night. Their presence never created safety in the area. I was absolutely against their ideology which tried to grant instantaneous justice in limited situations.

Justice and Equality can alone be achieved through democratic means. I embraced the Tricolour rejecting the red flag and walked towards a better life for creating better legal lives.

I left my village 30 years back in the Hope of building a better future. I shunned the bloodshed and intimidating forces because I always believed in Democracy. Democracy alone can bring justice to the lives of the downtrodden. Education can solely bring change and create immense opportunities for all sections of the people.

India today at 75 is marching towards achieving the objectives enshrined in our constitution. India at 100 must attain these objectives with decisive results.

In the coming 25 years, the Tricolour will alone eradicate the differences between the poor and the rich. More opportunities shall flow towards the ones that couldn’t see the fruits of this democracy. The baton of Power shall be handed over to the ones who believe can deliver better.

The Tricolour shall lead us to be further economically self-sufficient, culturally enriching and democratically a vibrant nation.

Let’s celebrate this special festival occasion with lots of Happiness. This is a one-time occasion. Let’s cherish the Republic we are born into. Let’s make our Nation a Better place to live for future generations to come.

Let’s believe in our youth who have deeper aspirations, fathomable ideas and give them the power to shape those aspirations and ideas.

Let every girl child develop wings to take up responsibilities and lead us in all spheres of life.

Indian Tri colour flag can alone transform our lives and take us towards a developed century democracy and a Vishwa Guru.

Jai Hind.
